Nike Air Force 1 Sculpt

This AF1 Sculpt has a streamlined design and minimal branding, giving it an effortless style. While the outsole comes in a translucent gum brown, the midsole is a creamy white tone called Alabaster. This fills out the whole Air-cushioned portion of the sole, with Air lettering embossed onto the lateral heel bringing attention to this soft padding. The upper employs firm colour blocking to add a stylish touch to the sneaker, beginning with the tumbled white leather that covers the forefoot overlay, the toe box and the eyestay, as well as the midfoot and rear panels. These last two features are held together by a thin seam with hidden stitching, while the other sections are lined with clear single or double lines of thread.

In the toe, broad rows of perforations fan out towards the front of the foot, and further back Alabaster laces tie the shoe together. Here, the first of a pair of red tones can be seen in the form of a Gym Red lace dubrae with a swoosh sunken into it. Along the inner edge of the eyestay, more red subtly shines through. This connects to the mesh inner lining, which also comes in the deep tone of Gym Red. The rim of the white tongue and the plain patch that loops over it are both red as well, though the insole returns to white. At the back, the heel tab, which is similarly unbranded, is also Gym Red, in gentle contrast to the recessed swooshes that cut through the flanks. These strong features are coated in a slightly lighter shade of red called Light Crimson, which rounds off the bold colour blocking of this appealing design.
