Nike Air Force 1 Low

The clean, dichromatic construction of this Air Force 1 gives it a refined elegance. Beginning underfoot, the outsole has ringed lines that emanate out across the heel and forefoot, with straight rows of grooves running through the midfoot to create effective traction throughout. This feature comes in Red Stardust, its pastel pink tones extending up to cover the lugs around the edges of the outsole and the star-shaped nodes on its heel and toe. Moving beyond those parts, the midsole and upper switch from white to Summit White, creating a very subtle change in tone. The former has Air lettering embossed onto its lateral heel to show that a pouch of encapsulated Air lies within. Around it, foam cushioning fills in the gaps to offer plush padding and a soft step.

Smooth leather panels connected by delicate lines of stitching constitute the upper, with perforations in the toe box and midfoot panels bringing gentle aeration to the foot. The forefoot and rear overlays add a touch of depth, as does the eyestay, which has a Red Stardust swoosh sewn into its toe end. Three sets of Nike Air branding text can be found scattered throughout the design, all in this same appealing ruddy tone with white as the background. The first sits on the tongue patch, the second has been printed onto the insole and the third is embroidered into the heel panel. A final dash of colour occurs on each sidewall in the form of a Red Stardust swoosh made of pristine leather, which rounds things out in style.
