A collection of white and off-white tones mix together on this Air Force 1 PLT.AF.ORM to create a shoe that is light and graceful. The outsole comes in the classic shade of Summit White, its circular grip patterns more defined than other AF1 designs as they alternate between shallow and deep grooves. The midsole maintains the same colour and has a captivating stacked look established by a notch in the heel. Capitalised Air lettering has been embossed onto the lateral side of this feature, and the midsole itself has been lifted for an elevated feel. It slopes down towards the front of the foot, which is encircled by a line of stitching.

On the upper, white combines with two off-white hues – Pale Ivory and Light Orewood Brown. One extends along the forefoot and rear overlays, its light pink tint providing an intriguing contrast against the white of the toe box. A darker brownish hue can be seen on the swooshes, which are asymmetrical from one side of the shoe to the other. The lateral one has been shifted forwards to begin on the forefoot mudguard and stops just short of the heel panel. Behind it lies a white cutout section that forms the shape of another swoosh. Then, the medial one starts under the heel panel and stretches forwards to disappear beneath the forefoot mudguard, a delicate line of stitching showing where it would continue over the top of this leather section.

The large heel panel is embroidered with Nike Air text in an off-white thread that has a slight shimmer to it. The same branding effect has been sewn into the tongue, and a refined lace dubrae features a small silver swoosh in its top corner. Minimal perforations rest in lines across the toe box, while the sneaker’s inner lining is incredibly soft. Added to the Air cushioning in the heel, this delivers an extremely comfortable experience to the wearer. Printed onto the insole in a light silvery tone is the text “AF1.EST.1982” in a final nod to the distinguished heritage of this sneaker.
