Nike Force 1 Low x Off-White™

This vibrant collaborative Nike Force 1 Low x Off-White™ sneaker features a series of offbeat elements devised by Virgil Abloh himself. Volt is the main colour to be found across the shoe, from the rubber sole unit to the robust ripstop and mesh upper. The outsole brings sound traction underfoot via its concentric ringed indentations, which radiate out beneath the centre of the heel and the medial side of the forefoot. Meanwhile, the midsole contains comfortable foam cushioning, and the word “Nike” appears twice on its lateral side, once in embossed Volt rubber and a second time in black Helvetica font flanked by quotation marks in typical Abloh fashion.

The upper includes the usual forefoot mudguard surrounding the toe box, along with midfoot panels and a rear overlay. However, this last segment includes a crescent cutout section around the heel, revealing a sturdy layer underneath. All of this comes in further shades of Volt, while the heel panel and eyestay are a darker tone of khaki green. They are also made of suede, and the former has both a Nike swoosh and the word “Logo” imprinted into its surface. Either side of its loose bottom edge, black swooshes can be seen emerging, before reaching along the shoe’s sidewalls. They are held on with zigzag Volt stitching, for a dynamic look, and the front tip of each is unattached so that it hangs freely over the edge of the eyestay. On the lateral side, there is a small orange tag just underneath the swoosh, while the medial side includes black text detailing the collaboration, though much of it is obscured by the swoosh. Finishing off this eye-catching sneaker is a blue grey leather tag that has been looped through the Volt laces as another sign that Off-White™ worked on the design.
