Nike Air Force 1 '07

These Air Force 1 ‘07s have a sophisticated look forged by refined colours and quality materials. A Phantom outsole acts as the foundation, its two sets of circular grip arrangements rippling out from one point in the centre of the heel and another towards the medial side of the forefoot. The same shade of white extends up around the lugs and star-shaped nodes on the rim of the outsole before moving into the midsole. This provides a comfortable platform through its combination of foam and Air cushioning, while embossed lettering forms the word “Air” on its lateral heel. Intriguingly, the stitching that runs in a groove around the top of the midsole takes on the same colour as the upper – a light beige tone known as Sand Drift.

This pleasant hue fills out almost the entire upper, from the forefoot and rear overlays to the midfoot, toe box and eyestay. Breathable perforations work in lines across the toe and sit in pairs at the bottom of the midfoot panels, offering cooling aeration around the foot. The laces and AF1-branded dubrae take on a slightly lighter tone of beige, while a Phantom patch has been sewn into the tongue. This colour also lines the top of the tongue, which is otherwise Sand Drift in colour.

A velvety material with an appealing glimmer wraps around the inner lining, below which lies a Sand Drift insole with Phantom Nike Air text printed on top. More branding has been sewn into the tongue patch, this time in Sand Drift, and similar lettering has been embossed into the heel panel. Along with the swooshes that stretch across the flanks, this feature brings the shoe a gleaming shimmer via its Metallic Gold colouring and stippled texture for a classy finish.
