Nike Dunk Low Retro

This Nike Dunk Low Retro features an elegant white and black design based on the classic Panda colourway but with a twist that has seen it given the nickname Reverse Panda. The predominant tone to be found on the sneaker is white. In fact, it covers almost the entire shoe, including the sole. Under the forefoot, white appears through the various circular contours that emanate out from a central circle on the medial side of the outsole, as well as the familiar star-shaped nodes on its tip. The same can be said of the heel portion of this grippy rubber feature, whose lined formations add a different form of traction to the rear of the shoe. Then, in the middle, white also covers the Nike-branded section indented under the archway of the foot.

White extends through the midsole and the band of stitching that runs in a groove around its top edge, before going over onto the leather pieces that make up the upper. Pristine panels attached to each other via crisp lines of stitching create the well-known Dunk look, with overlays in the forefoot and heel alongside an eyestay that joins onto both. Just below its toe end, perforations provide breathability, while at its peak, its eyelets combine with those on the rear overlay. Here, the first hints of black start to show up as laces of this darker hue tie the shoe together.

On the heel, a small semi-circular panel rests up against the top of the collar, black Nike text embroidered in bold capital letters into its surface. Below this, there is a section of white leather that lies behind the heel wrap, within which parallel lines of stitching have been sewn for a finely detailed look.

Inside the shoe, the white theme continues on both the insole and the lining, though a set of black Nike branding creates a strong presence on the insole. Back on the outer, the same effect occurs on the white tongue label before pronounced black leather swooshes complete the eye-catching aesthetic of this stylish model.
