Jordan 4 Retro OG
"White Cement"

The mostly grayscale colour scheme decorating this Jordan 4 Retro OG brings it a stylish look along with the nickname White Cement. Its outsole combines all four tones to be found across the sneaker, with black over its front half, Tech Grey around the heel and toe, white through the centre, and a blazing Fire Red below the forefoot and on the Nike text under the arch. The whole multi-coloured feature is held steady by herringbone grip lines that have been oriented in different directions to give all-round traction.
The black portion of the outsole extends up around the toe and lateral flank to form part of the midsole. Meanwhile, its back section is white, a clear window revealing the Air unit inside. Layered on top of this is a band of Tech Grey material that has been spattered with black speckles, creating an offbeat aesthetic. The same effect appears on the large heel panel and the triangular wings that provide structural support to the flanks. These last features are attached to black pieces of TPU which contain several eyelets to hold the white laces secure at the top of the eyestay. The rest of the eyelets move down through the white leather of the upper, before the final ones are contained within another black TPU cage.
The main segments of the upper are all made from smooth leather in a pristine shade of white, and three areas of netting appear around the quarter panel, thus facilitating ventilation around the foot. Within the shoe, the fuzzy white inner lining forges a compelling contrast against the black of the insole and the underside of the tongue. A flash of Fire Red shines out from the dark surface of the former on its Nike Air branding, while a white patch with Fire Red Air Jordan text adorns the latter. More Nike Air lettering has been embossed onto the heel panel in black, and the white Jordan Flight label sewn into the tongue hosts a Fire Red Jumpman to conclude the sneaker with a colourful flourish.
