Jordan 11 Retro

This showstopping Jordan 11 Retro combines off-white tones with colourful highlights for an elegant design. A Sail outsole with a see-through complexion starts things off underfoot, its translucence allowing the wearer to view the black carbon fibre plate set behind it. While this provides support to the foot, the outsole’s surface is marked by rippling grip lines from heel to toe, and white pods of solid rubber below each of the aforementioned features bring added traction through their use of a herringbone tread. This all lends it high levels of traction, and the University Red Jumpman in the centre of the carbon fibre shank brings an eye-catching touch to the bottom of the shoe.

Atop this solid foundation lies a white midsole whose Phylon foam exterior masks the Air cushioning held within. This soft padding stretches the full length of the sneaker for maximum comfort. Meanwhile, the upper comes in a refined shade of white beige known as Platinum Tint, the hue covering the luxurious nubuck of the mudguard and heel panel, as well as the ballistic mesh of the quarter panel and tongue. This tone even decorates the webbed lacing system, whose textile bands offer six eyelets along each side of the tongue to secure the white laces in place.

Vibrant University Red highlights bring memorable accents to the upper, firstly along the front edges of the heel panel, which draw curved red lines down each flank. Then, a thick band of University Red fabric reaches over the middle of the tongue, white branding text sitting either side of a black Jumpman displayed in its centre. The shoe’s interior presents a bold contrast with the Platinum Tint outer via its use of black throughout, which only deviates on the insole’s Sail Jumpman. Back on the outer, the black material of the inner extends outwards beyond the topline to shape a heel tab with the number 23 stamped onto it in University Red. Then, a dashing Jumpman logo in the same vivid red hue resides on the lateral side of the heel, thus concluding this Air Jordan 11 design with another striking accent.
