Jordan 11 Retro Low

A gentle pastel tone works perfectly with the white found across most of this Jordan 11 Retro Low to make it a wonderfully inviting sneaker. This colour is known as Pure Violet, and it covers the partially see-through outsole, which has curved grip lines forming ripples along its surface. These only stop to allow space for white sections of opaque rubber below the heel and forefoot, both of which incorporate herringbone grip patterns for extra traction, while a carbon fibre plate slotted between the outsole and the midsole helps to support the foot. This lightweight component also has an eye-catching grid pattern spread across it, and a white Jumpman seems to jump across its centre.

With these aspects of the design bringing strength and grip, the midsole adds soft cushioning via its combination of Phylon foam and full-length Air. It has a lightly textured exterior that contrasts well with the sleek sheen of the Pure Violet patent leather mudguard extending around the upper just above it. The ballistic mesh placed over the top of the foot then switches back to white, the blend of these two bright hues lending the shoe a spring-like feel. Bands of webbing then stretch across the upper to form looped eyelets that accommodate the rope-style laces, here in white.

The tongue is also coated in flexible mesh, and the white inner features more plush fabrics for cosiness around the foot. A Pure Violet Jumpman has been lightly printed onto the insole, creating a gentle variation in tone that can also be seen on the tongue branding. This consists of a white band through the feature’s centre that is adorned with Jumpman and Jordan branding in the muted lilac found across the rest of the model. On the rear of the shoe is a heel tab formed from the inner lining that exhibits Jordan’s jersey number of 23 in Pure Violet. This beautiful colour can be found one more time just below this in the form of a diminutive Jumpman logo that has been delicately embroidered into the white leather of the heel to round off this aesthetically pleasing Jordan 11.
