Jordan 1 Golf

This Jordan 1 Golf sneaker has been decorated in the iconic Chicago colours and provided with a host of special adaptations that make it an ideal option for the golf course. Its outsole in particular has been completely reworked, with jagged extrusions capping the white toe and specialised cleats in Varsity Red below the forefoot and heel. The rest of this grippy structure has white cone-shaped studs emerging from it and a Varsity Red Jumpman resides below the arch of the foot. With this delivering the wearer excellent traction, the thick white midsole takes care of comfort with its plush underfoot cushioning.

In addition to these sole unit alterations, the upper has received its own changes. Prime amongst them is the use of a waterproof material to cover the outer, making it much more wearable in difficult weather conditions. Otherwise, it retains the classic look of a Chicago colourway, with white on its perforated toe box and midfoot panels alongside Varsity Red on the forefoot overlays, eyestay, heel counter and collar wrap. The inside of the collar, which is completely black, has been supplied with extra padding for even more support and protection around the ankle. This black coating continues throughout the inner, only being deviated from on the white Jumpman printed on the insole.

Back on the outer, black laces tie up over a white tongue, which has a Varsity Red label sewn into its peak. Another white Jumpman is silhouetted against this brightly coloured patch, and large black swooshes power down the shoe’s flanks. These two Nike logos converge at the heel, where they each disappear beneath a small square of red leather in its centre. Above this, the black collar can be seen behind the Varsity Red overlay encircling the high-cut ankle. Finally, a set of Air Jordan Wings with a twist has been printed into the collar wrap in black – the word “Nike” can be seen in the banner across the top of the emblem instead of the usual Jordan lettering, thus rounding out this alternative AJ1 Chicago sneaker with a unique piece of styling.
